In April, Speak Out and Grace Eyre held an event to help people with learning disabilities prepare for the coming elections this year. We went through the details of voting and the new ID requirements, as well as supporting people to register.

We will work to hold at least another two events to help people prepare when the election date is named – another preparation event focusing on registration, ID, and how to make informed voting decisions, and an accessible hustings with local candidates.
