Open Advocacy Meeting
Speak Out holds open advocacy meetings every 3 months at the Brighthelm Centre. These meetings are planned and run by a group of people with learning disabilities. Each meeting focuses on a different issue that affects people with learning disabilities. So far, we have had a meeting about the cost-of-living crisis in March and we had a meeting about mental health in July.
Our next meeting will be in October and will be about access to healthcare and healthy eating.
